Is it possible to use this with prototype? It sounds nice, but I don't want to implement yet another library on my site. Thank you!

I found your script and it's great, however, it has same conflict/error as supersleight script by the guy from 24 ways... the problem is rendering script with asp.net, precisely asp.net's menu. result = links disappear, the asp renders menu control as a class="..." href="..." ...
you can see the result at www.upds-rs.org (it's on serbian but don't mind to view code.. it's on codeish :)) ...

Please if you have any suggestion, mail me...

Regards,
Nenad

Fix for Gatan's bug:

Search for "var matches = bg.match(/^url\("(.*)"\)$/);"

Change next line to "if(matches && matches.length) {"

... it tests for the object before the property.

(also, might want to add this url in the header)

Hi,
I got a little bug in IE6, it indicates me for line 115 that "length" got a Null value or is not an object.
