TweetQuote Launched!

Whilst work was a little quiet over the past day, I decided to write a little Twitter-based JavaScript plugin. The idea was to pull specific “themed” Tweets and display them on a site as “quotes”. I liked the general principle of the idea, as you often see Tweets in list format, rather than individually. Which in part, is how they the idea of Twitter was initially conceived.

TweetQuote

Pulled together over 24 hours, this is hardly the most complex or complete plugin, but it certainly does the trick if you want to display public Tweets on your site. You can follow a search phrase (like I do on the TweetQuote site, with Obama), or a specific user, hashtag, locale or anything you want, if you use the advancedquery option!

Go to www.tweetquote.co.uk, have a look, and put it in your site if you like it!

If you incur any problems, please feel free to leave a comment on this page!
